Charter Fishing Services

Before you book your Florida Charter Fishing Trip we want to help you find the right package. In order to do that, we need to go over some information about what exactly each of these fishing charters entail. Take a look at our definitions and descriptions before choosing your Florida Fishing Charter Trip.

Licensing and Gear – When you fish with a USCG Licensed Charter Fishing Captain you are not required to have any additional licensing or permits. We will provide all of your bait, tackle, and gear as well as water for your trip. If you are taking an 8 hour trip we recommend that you bring something to eat and any drinks that you want other than water. It is recommended on all trips that you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sun screen in order to protect you from the intense Florida Sun.

Near-shore Fishing – Generally, near-shore fishing means fishing along the coastal waters from 1-9 miles out from beach or inlet areas. We highly encourage anyone who has never been on a Charter Fishing Trip or who has an issue with motion or sea sickness to start with one of these Near-shore Charters. It is also recommended if you do have motion sickness to take medication the night before and right before your trip begins to help minimize any possible discomfort.

Off-shore Fishing – Also known as “deep sea fishing”, our off-shore option is for the more experienced fishers who want the thrill of fighting the BIG FISH. Off-shore Fishing Charters usually involve fishing in water depths between 100-400 feet and are anywhere from 10-50 miles out to sea. This means that the water conditions can be much more difficult to manage and also requires having an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled Captain to help you get in and out of deep waters safely and successfully while putting you on the big fish you are after. This is the ultimate thrill when it comes to salt water fishing.

Open Charter – This means that you are an individual who wants to join a group of individuals for some time out on the ocean. In order for our open charters to actually launch into the sea we require that at least 4 people have booked the same time slot with one of our captains. You can book your appointment online normally but in the event we are unable to fill that time slots charter we will send you an email with an option for another day or a refund.

Private Charter – This option is for people who have a minimum of 3 members in their group with no more than 6 members who want to be the only people on our fishing boat with our Charter Captain. The cost is fixed and you are literally buying the boat for your excursion. Since most private fishing charters require a Captain and a Mate we encourage groups who have their expectations exceeded to show some love to our crew members with a gratuity. This is absolutely not required but it is customary in our industry due to the fact that most mates are paid purely in tips. We leave it up to your discretion and always appreciate groups who feel inclined to help out our “little buddies”.
